St Xavier's Primary School

St Xavier’s School continues the fine tradition established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1879 of providing high quality affordable education to the children of Gunnedah and district. 

Catering for children from Kindergarten through to Year 6, all classes work in large, modern, architect designed learning spaces. Access to the very latest technology is available to all students and resources are targeted to meet the learning and wellbeing needs of all students.

In 2022 we completed a three year building project which has resulted in a completely new school and refurbished grounds. We look forward to this exciting, new phase in the history of our school in providing Catholic education to families within the Gunnedah region.
