Bundarra Central School

All young people deserve opportunities and support to succeed in life. We aim to maximise life skills in as many students as possible. 

BCS is an innovative school set in a picturesque location on the banks of the Gwydir River. Its grounds, gardens, and neat and clean appearance obviously contribute to the tone of an orderly pleasant and productive school environment. The school has a family atmosphere with close ties to the community and a culture of close student support whilst achieving at the highest levels of interschool competition in sport. 

There are four classes in primary and classes in Years 7 to 12 are taught by eight teachers.Years 11 and 12 are supported by teachers from Dubbo Distance Education and all senior lessons are staffed by BCS teachers with online and video conferenced lessons in addition.Mature aged students are also enrolled in a variety of in school TAFE courses conducted out of school hours. 

The school has close ties with the Inverell Community of Schools and it is common that students and parents work and play across an interconnected district.
